I was a big time sweet water bass and offshore guy fishing from my 25ft Mako Center console, to the long range boats out of San Diego.
I had to down size my gear just a tad..love fishing sand hollow and quail lake. Fly fishing k olob and every were on the sevier river Ice fishing is a blast..
Love southern utah…still looking for a few dedicated anglers in the area.
Welcome to the site, I see you have already found the Utah board. There are several members that live down in your area, one that is a bass fishing manic. Try sending TroutBumDave a PM(Private Message) he is always looking for someone to fish with down there but he normally fishes from shore.

I fish Newcastle on a regular basis. Great population of smallies. Still haven’t figured out the Wiper bite though.
Do you fish Newcastle from a boat, if so have you tried trolling for the wipers? Dave is also an avid trout fly fisherman, if that matters.
Welcome to BFT. Always nice to have someone from the southern end of the state. I am looking at exploring that area just a little bit more myself.
