Did a little fishing, a little catching. Went out of CFP about 7:30, and down to Harrison Bay. Started fishing the cuts, probably way too shallow. Caught four small bass , in 4-6' in the lay-downs closest to the mouth. Tried fishing all the way back , good casting practice, just no bites. Only got one fish at each lay-down,so it was sorta run and gun, which is not my preferred style. Bite died off about 10. Shoulda gone to my way-points in the bay and tried there,but worked shallow most of the day. Caught all my bass on a 1/4 oz Soddy Custom Tackle watermelon jig w/matching Baby Peca Craw trailer. It was a beautiful day to be on the lake, and it sure beats working.
