SE idaho ice conditions

took a drive around today to check ice here was my findings

Hawkins 6-8 in ice @ in white stuff 4 in of clear ice
Winder 34 inches of clear ice
treasurton im not sure but judging from the numbers of people scattered around the lake there was plenty
Glendale 3-4 in of clear ice
lamont 3-4 in of clear ice
Johnson 3-4 in of clear ice

thansk for the info! I hit henry’s at noon—very slow, caught 1 18" brookie and missed one cuttie. Stopped at robert’s gravel pond and the kids pulled in 3" perch as fast as they could along with two 12" rainbows.

I fished Weston and Deep Creek today and Weston has 3 inches of clear ice and another 2 or 3 inches of white ice on top. Deep Creek is a little more iffy I fished about 30 yards off the bank on the west side and it was 3 to 4 inches of clear ice. Fishing stunk at Weston and was pretty good at Deep Creek

Thanks for the update. Weston always seems hot in the summer but when the ice comes it seems to shut down.

34 inches at winder? Or is that a typo? My add to is, deep creek along dam, varied from 1.5 to 3,1/4, crowthers had 2 inches of clear ice, the d had 3 to 4 depending and very clear ice. Devils has 3.5 to 4 inches. All fished ok for me today.

Oh yeah any one planning an outing. Be carfull, the ice has very little to no traction on it. Very slick on the places I went. Tread careful, dont need any injuries on the ice this year. Also deep creek was a very vocal nature today. Her tone was very puckering. It was a tone enough to ruin a ice experience for a newbie. It was the most vocal ive ever heard a lake sing today. I wouldnt trust it yet with more than a 2 man group. It really got vocal when I decided to leave at one point there was 6/8 people within 30 feet of each other. Too much weight for that ice when they all got on the ice started singing loud.

Hit twin today there was 3-4 inches of clear ice. There was only 1 other person on the ice today. Fishing was slow. I caught three small trout. The other guy caught 1 bluegill and about 6 perch.

Daniels 4 inches

Glendale 5-6 inches :sunglasses:
