Got out there at 7:15am. Rented small motor boat due to friend not having float tube.[unsure]
By 2pm I limited on trout using Chartuese PowerBait and Red PowerWorm. I also used the portable Piranha 10 Hummingbird fish finder. Worked great!

Of course, getting a boat makes perfect sense if there is two of you huh? You’d be spending $10 just to launch anyway! If your buddy is looking for a tube I have a Wood and Stream StealthRider I want to sell. It’s in very, very good condition and never patched. Price $175 firm (SMRP is over $375)
Irvine sounds like it might be good here according to TubeN2 report. Something at the bottom about a kayak/float tube tournament too.
