Trolled the south end of the lake and c&r three trout then went bassin. Worked our way back to the south end and caught the first bass of the year on spinnerbait. 16" Relaesed it and a hatch of knats had the trout on a feeding frenzy. Threw on a roughrider and hooked up up with 10 more in a 10 min. span. All 12-13 inchs so had to throw them back.Great way to start the year.

there’s nothin like a little T & B action to start off the season. I myself am looking forward to a little trout action latter this week. the season for catch and release season opens in my area on thursday.
