Thinking about heading out to Rockport early in the AM. Anyone been out there recently? Hows the ramp? Any fish to be found?
Kent ask the same question. We haven’t seen many reports on Rockport this year. Kent should be posting his report if he made it, keep an eye out for it. WH2

The ramp is no problem – plenty of water. I fished for a short time and caught two bass and one perch. If I would just have stayed put I would have caught many more, but I was trying the boat out and it ran just fine.
Pulled up the boat and R.V.I spent 4 days over the 24th I know this is in a past fishing post, but purhaps can help, The water was about 78 and about 10-15 from the normal top location (water still high) the fishing was not that good becouse of the [crazy]speed boats but during the eveing it got better, I was told and fished from the dock to the west bank trolling back and forth useing pop gear and worms, the fish were small [:(]10-12, there is some bass in the cove at the east-north end (small bass) it will take time for the fish in Rock port to grow up, they were planted last year.*
Over all fishing is O.K. and the water wounderful- Have fun
