After a bit of a sketchy drive up to the Rock I met up with Deepcycle and we fished out from the last restroom on the west. Perch were hot and cold all morning and into the afternoon-- swarms on the finder, then nada. I would have limited out a couple hours sooner than I did if I knew how to set a hook.
Deepcycle just about caught a limit of perch also and left around 2:00. I stayed to try for some trout and ended up with 1 nice rainbow to go with my perchies. The slush on the ice has frozen and there is a bit of snow on top. Ice is still good at 5+ inches. Good fishin with ya Deepcycle, we’ll have to do it again soon

Hey Thanks SP I had a great time on the ice with you! Glad to hear that you tied into a slimer you had a good day today. The ride up was a bit scary but well worth it. I think I had 14 fish which was cool after cleaning them. I cooked them with this coconut shimp batter a bought at Sportsmans along with some shrimp OoWhee! was they snacky.
