Well the wild hair i get sometimes and the bucket list just crossed paths and are getting close to reality. Myself and the Daughters Bf are heading out Friday on a Trip of a Lifetime. (Maybe Not, Depends on how things go)
Heading to Lake of the Woods on the Northern Minnesota Canadian Border. Booked at Sportmans Lodge and Checking in on Sunday the 26th at 2:00 PM. Staying in an ICE House out on the Lake til Thursday Morning at 10:00 am.
Goin to Give the Walleyes, Sauger, Perch and Whatever else comes along a run for their Money.
Been a Dream of Mine for Some time to tangle with the fish in “The Walleye Capital of the World”.
Will take plenty of Pictures and Post them upon our return.
Should Prove to be very Interesting.

Once in a life time! If the fishing is anything like what the wigwam fisherman posts on YouTube. It’s gonna be a once a year trip. I’m the lucky one that’s going with ol rancid. Just get on either sportsmans lodge.com or wigwam resort. They will take care of you from supplying your fish house to cleaning and packaging your fish for the ride home.
But for sure get on wigwam and check out there daily fishing reports he posts one on YouTube once a week. just watching his reports makes me want to move up there! Anyways when we get back will get you guys some pics to check out.
Can’t really beat the price. They bring you fresh water and bait everyday. Gotta take yer own food and sleeping gear. They even supply the fishing gear if you need it. You can rent vexlars or markams. Stove in there to cook up some freshly caught fish. Heater and Prpoane lights. Restroom. Ahhhhh roughin it at its best. Just get yourself there and should be a blast. Start planning for next year and we’ll all go.lol
