Anyone been over the road to Renegade, at Strawberry, in the last few days? If yes, I would like to know the road conditions.
Hit renegade on Wednesday. Pulled a 22’ Crestline with a 3500 Dodge. Patches of asphalt with ice, plenty of snow and occassional drifts. Bit of a white knuckler. Entire ramp area is covered in snow. Would recommend launching at Strawberry Bay.

What’s the road in and ramp look like at Strawberry Bay? I would like to pull my 21’ Bayliner up if still clear.
i just got back from the berry, fished mud creek caught about 20 between 2 of us! The road to the marina and mud creek is a solid sheet of ice. Be careful!! a lot of people sliding of the road. I was seriously going 10 mph leaving today! and was white nuckling it the whole way!Talked to the DWR officer he said the marina gets 120 hr to plow the road, but there not doing it yet! go figure!![crazy] Good luck if ya go! There were several vehicles at Renegade so the road is drivable. We took the boat to The Strawberry Marina today and the road was snow packed for much of the way but OK if one takes it slowly. The ramp was ice free.
