I fished from 11 til 430 and the conditions were cold and windy but I managed 6 fish on white. I say white because I used several patterns from wooly buggers to rabbit leehces. The rabbit leech with olive/copper polar chennile wrapped through it worked best.
Oh I was on my kick boat if that matters.
Thanks for this report. I’ve been meaning to take my float tube out there but i haven’t made it once yet. I completely missed ice out (although it’s value as a fishing event is disputed on this board). On the other hand, Utah Lake is so close and has been so uncommonly good that I don’t feel as bad about only casting my fly rod in practice. This motivates me to hopefully try Strawberry soon.
