Thanks!

Thanks squeaky wheel, Amy!

I’m there / here now.

I brought my nephew along with me. Interesting meeting tonight.

Mercury advisory lists are backwards! Number one at the top of the list should be waters and fish with the lowest mercury and safest to eat. Perhaps that will be featured on the website. If not, I still will be getting the information by email and I can share.

What a government agency says is a safe level of mercury to consume means nothing to me. I have my own much less tolerant standards. I want to know the cleanest waters and fish and I’ll fish there and catch and eat those fish.

How did I miss you? Should have been easy spotting me… The only female  I like everything they are going for. Now, legalizing cross bow for carp is too cool. I could really like that.

Yeah I saw you when you walked in. You looked over at me a couple of times. I was sitting next to my nephew across the aisle wearing the San Fran shirt. You left when it started to get interesting. I love what they want to do with both yuba and scofield. I like the new regs as well.

Too me the meeting was more of a fishing comedy show that I attended to but it was worth my time for some laugh and giggles.

It was nice seeing you FG.[:)]

We saw ya, we were on the other side by the aisle behind all the tan shirts. Crossbows for the win!

I am sorry I didn’t get to say hi. I see so many faces (remember, I am also in a band) that I have a hard time remember faces. Names I can remember…LOL

I thought it was pretty much over when I went to the hallway. I understand people have their opinion and wish to express it, but sometimes they got a little lengthy[;)]
Sort and to the point, people are more likely to remember. Talk too long and people tend to tune out. Or at least I do.

GO CROSSBOW>>> [:)]

It was worth attending this time around. It was great to see the process of how a RAC meeting moves along.

I wish I would have stayed for the information on Yuba but I just had to track Flygoddess down for a furled leader. Thanks FG!

Lots of familiar faces in that room for sure.

P.S. GO CROSSBOW!

Too me the meeting was more of a fishing comedy show that I attended to but it was worth my time for some laugh and giggles.

It was nice seeing you FG.:slight_smile:You’re a real piece of work FFL. A serious process to hopefully improve everybody’s enjoyment of a limited resource and all you see is a circus. You’re an insult to me and I’m sure to other board members. Your comments are crude, inappropriate, and show just how clueless you really are.

Wow! Were you even there?

He was quiet and respectful while attending that meeting. As the yougest guy there it was good to have someone that fishes so much to start to involve himself in the process in some sort of way. He can apporve of disapprove without some cranky old man telling him how he ought to think.

I think what FFL is saying is that a lot of the proposals from the groups and individuals was something he didn’t agree with. I know I didn’t agree with everything everyone said.

This was my first time attending. I found it very interesting and informational. I especially liked the info on the other lakes after the initial reg section. I emailed the chair after I got home to add my opinion. He agrees with me on it too. :sunglasses:

You nailed it right on the head.

The one that cracked me up big time. Was the slot limit proposal for bass . Good luck with that in Utah. I loved how he compared it with other states when other states got a different atmosphere, environment, food resource and ect that the bass can eat to have a big number but we aren’t Texas or California  were Utah with harsh winters [angelic].

Crossbow approve.

Actually the slot limit for bass is a good idea, but as Mr. Birdsey stated that there needs to be a harvest for a slot limit to work. T works at strawberry because there is a harvest. With bass here in Utah there is not much harvest so the slot limit would not work very well. Now changing size restrictions will help. Such as all fish over 12" must be immediately released.

I’m not sure about 12" and over because why is Jordanelle still having problems when they had that rule for quite some time and nothing has improved.

To understand bass, they like structure. And jordanelle has some structure but not enough. Also they need a food source. With the recent fluctuations in water the structure and food sources have diminished. Another issue at hand is stunting. Since most bass are released and not harvested they will soon over populate and eat out their house and home. So no food no growth. They mentioned pelican last night is having that problem. Harvest more little fish the. The big ones can grow and the reservoir will bounce back.

They took that 12" away and let the spear fishing go on so you got what we have now on many lakes, with only small fish left to spawn or fish for..

Well one of the new regs for next year you will love. No more spear fishing allowed on jordanelle.

You do realize Cliff was there last night. He even spoke his cause.
