Hit PBH this morning to drop a jig through the ice. Fishing was pretty slow so I kept moving around the docks until I found a few willing players. I probably could have gotten out on the ice but I’m not going to push my luck just yet.
I ended up icing a couple of white bass and a perch, I had one nice whitie get off at the hole and he had some weight to him (or her)… Probably about the size of my first one.
I caught my white bass on a chrome/blue castmaster tipped with worm and the perch was on a swedish pimple (gold and red) she was full of eggs. All of them were caught jigging just off the bottom. I had a couple other bites but pretty slow none the less, I wouldn’t exactly rush to the harbor for some good fishing just yet but if you want to kill some time…
