Got out this morning with my buddy, crappiehunter for a few hours…air temp was 45, water was gin clear and calm.
Working a 1/32 oz. jig under a float in the timber, we caught 20 crappies, 2 gills and 3 bass…here’s the nicest one for the day 12.25", 1.1 lbs.
Nature Notes: We saw a night heron, a great blue heron, 2 vocal kingfishers and a tree with half-a-dozen grey sqirrels that were doing a Chinese Fire Drill up and down and all around the tree.
