Thanks for the report, nice looking brown MM. We were there last Monday, very slow for sure. We caught a couple of browns and a bow but there was a lot more snow than you saw.
Wow that is a bunch of snow and its all gone now! The kokes were running at 80 feet today, and were not biting again. I sure wish they would hit like they have in the years past, they really don’t seem to want to hit hard this year.

Took the little fella out to porcupine today. Caught a pretty nice brown as soon as I dropped down the hole. Fished for about 4 more hours and didn’t catch anything. .y buddy caught 2 kokes, not many fish showing up on the finder. Pretty slippery drive up to the lake, and the ice on the lake was super slippery. Still good ice and edges.

Your buddy caught the kokes 80 down, wow, I’ve never heard of anyone catching them that deep while jigging. Were they the same size as your last trip? I was surprised you said that all that snow is gone, it must have been warm up there. We were the first ones on that new snow that day.
He caught his first one at the normal depth. We saw very few fish for 3 hours maybe E or 3 schools. We relocated for the last 45 minutes of our trip and graphed about 5 schools at 80 to 90 feet, my buddy probly set the hook 6 times and got one fish. I couldn’t get them to bite my stuff. His kokes were about ten inchers.
Well that isn’t too bad, I hope they gain another 2 inches by summer and we will be doing good. So, if you don’t mind sharing some info, what was your friend using that was working for him on the kokes he caught? PM’s are welcome too.
