Launched at 6 am to calm seas and clear skies. Fished topwater for 2 hours with only 2 smallies to show for it. Started throwing jerkbaits and caught 4 tigers. 2-30", 1 28", and a 26". My uncle lost(what i believe to be) a near state record smallie on a norman crankbait. This fish was within 3’ of the boat and i am confident it was over 7# and 23"! What a fun day.
