Hoping to get out to Pineview tomorrow for some time in the tube. Are they still charging to launchat Port Ramp? Figured I would try the narrows for a bit and then maybe head over to Port Ramp area. Anyone find action out there recently? Haven’t fished since July and am dying to get out.

Ended up catching a few crappie and perch. Biggest crappie was about 13 inches with most around 8 inches. All aroudn the docks at Port Ramp. Nothing until about 9:00am. Stayed until about noon. Most came on red jig with silver/white tube tipped with worm. Very light bite, just looking for weight on the line one hit the bottom. Slowly reeled up until I felt it then stopped and set the hook. Weather was about 26 degrees most of the time I was there. Thick cloud cover. Water was 53 degrees and fish were between 35 - 45 feet.
Very nice work. I have not heard about crappies being taken out of PV in a while. Thanks for the detailed report. Have fun eating those tasty treats.
