Went in search of a dinner of big perch.
Caught about 3 dozen fish. Bag was mostly perch, 2 crappie, 2 cats, and 2 gills.
Brought home 2 keeper perch and one very nice crappie.
Jigs tipped with perch meat and a few caught while bottom bouncing.

Your a better fisherman than I. I marked fish everywhere and could not entice one to bite. I threw all the usual lures and nothing. Didn’t try perch meat…could catch a perch to use.[:/]
water temp was 55 warming to 56 when I left at 2. I think the water temp need to drop before the crappie bite will turn on.

I had a hard time getting hook sets till I stepped down to micro jigs. I’m talking ice fly size in tungsten.
Grab a few and head back and see if that changes your luck?
