The honeybees have found my trees and have been really active, even with the plum tree, which normally they don’t care for very much. I think there really isn’t a lot of other trees blooming around just yet, so they’re hitting mine pretty good.
Just got home from getting my taxes done and noticed my peach tree had started blooming. Seems way early but not surprising considering the warm temps this week.
If the 10-day forecast of record warm holds, those early blossoms may survive. Could be a heavy fruit year.
I’m going to unwrap my outdoor A/C unit today, and hang wasp traps. That’s my official Spring ritual. Looking to do my boat prep next week. Could be on the water right after Easter with high hopes and low probabilities, LOL!
I have 3 trees in full bloom right now. Apricot, peach and plum. My cherry tree is budding already as well. Like Rocky said, it’s going to be warm and I hope they make it. Still, super early for all of them, especially the peach.
