Had been tying a few Parachute Adams this past week [first time] and had no problem tying off the hackle. Perhaps I don’t know any better but I’m sure that if I followed the instructions to the letter I would screw the darn thing up. Found that if I started tying the calf hair about a third of the way back from the eye it kept me out of trouble as I do have a tendency to crowd the eye.
