Trolled Pallisades wednesday for about 6hrs. Not a single bite! We trolled various color rapalas thru various depths from 20 to 100 ft in the chanel of big elk. Anyone on here willing to give me some pointers?
I’ve had a lot of trips there with similar results. Only times I’ve done decent has been using down riggers trolling for kokanee. I guess guys that fish ice out do well along the banks with rapalas but I’ve yet to try it that time of year.
Hey Hillbili…sorry to hear about your bad luck ! Retired must be nice. Where did you retire from ? How’d the river look at the inlet to Palisades ?
Went out again this morning. Water level is down about 6-7 feet but water is nice and clearish green. Water temp ran about 64-65. Fish all over the graph but didnt like our offering again

Couldn’t fish in Utah, what makes you think you’d be able to in Idaho or Wyoming ??
Not all of us can afford 200k rigs and matchin tackle

Welcome to the Forum. I only fish Palasades at ice off and late fall . Then again through the ice .
