Other stuff

Since I have not got out much fishing I thought I would at least share some " other stuff"

A few photos of our new lab pup finding sheds while doing security and just being a young pup. Well I a 10 month old is still a pup in my mind

A Rattlesnake that made me jump doing summer ranch work.

And some country i have wandered on my side job

Beautiful area, was it hard to teach your new dog to retrieve the sheds? Most dogs, by the time they are 10 months old, are full grown, even if they might not act like it, lol. Always scary to run across a rattlesnake like that, glad you did not get too close.

“doing security” sounds a little ominous…

I do have a bit of that " nefarious " streak to me…and to call what I get to do security is a fun way to say watch elk and deer and encourage the occasional rascal that jumps a fence not to shoot them on a private ranch

Still trying to teach her. She walked right past that elk shed twice

I have owned several labs over the last 50 + years. Physical growth is typically completed in 12 to 18 months and emotional growth is completed in about 24 month’s. These are general statements and any dog can vary from them. But overall, I would say Lance’s dog is still considered a puppy.

Loved the pictures.
