Fished the river near the Fort somethingtolong and didn’t catch anything. Seen a couple minnows rising but thats it. I wouldn’t of fished this spot in town but the women gets what she wants.
Sounds like you were on the weber were it run through West Ogden around 24thst. Not the best fishing… If you want to go somewhere in town with the wife try the Ogden river parkway from the mouth of the canyon down to around Washington Blvd.
