I’m headed up for Grayling on July 16th. I will be hiking up to the Fish, Round, and Sand lakes. It will be a Day trip.
If any one would like to go. Please drop me a PM. I will be driving and have room for 3 more people in my Durango. Or we can meet at the Red Lobster/ ShopCo(I-80-1300 east) parking Lot at 415am and you can follow me to the trail head.
Billy, I am definitely in, but unfortunately it will only be in spirit, because I will be a couple hundred miles away attending my wife’s class reunion. Knowing how much I enjoy socializing (especially with people I don’t even know) you can rest assured that my day dreams will be fishing with you often that day! Please catch one for me.
Sorry you can’t come. I know how much you enjoy socializing compaired to fishing. No place you would rather be. I’ll do you one better I’ll catch 5 for you.
Aquaman and NEVER. Let me know when the best time would for you to go and I’ll try to work a trip in.
I AM AM ALSO HEADING UP THIS WEEKEND TO CATCH SOME GRAYLING. THIS WILL BE MY 1ST ATTEMPT AND I AM ANXIOUSLY LOOKING FORWARD TO IT. TO GET TO THE TRAILHEAD DO YOU JUST KEEP GOING EAST PAST THE TURN OFF TO SMITH & MOOREHOUSE LAKE? ALSO WOULD IT BE WORTH IT TO PACK IN WADERS? MAYBE WE WILL SEE YOU UP THERE.
Yes you do keep going east under the arch. the trailhead is about 7 miles up the road on your left(don’t stop at the one by the bridge) I would suggest that you should leave the waders at home or in the car. I give this hike a 8 out of 10. Thre last mile up to Round lake is a grunt. If you need any thing else drop me a PM or see you up there.
