Well, I got sick of waiting for storms to come in and push the waterfowl around, so me and some friends decided to head north after them! Here is a pic of our morning spoils…sure was a fantastic shoot.

Looks like you guys had a great shoot. I think my buddy and I are heading north sometime this week. That just makes me look forward to our trip.
We were up by Idaho Falls. For some reason the Mallards just kept pouring into the dekes…never happens like that around here. The weather couldn’t have been more pleasant (usually a bad sign for waterfowl). Hopefully we’ll get some weather around here and get some birds movin’.

Guess you don’t hunt the refuge in the later season…
