Just a reminder that as of February 15th commercial fish traps are no longer allowed in Federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Commercial vessels holding multiple permits can operate under the other permits but can no longer use traps as a method of catch.
I wonder how far up the coast that’ll end up going. I was reading on the CT board about stiffer bad limits and seasons on Flounder. It seems that the Federal DNR is really cracking down on our Saltwater Fisheries.
