I have a 6 year old daughter who has never been fishing before and is begging me to take her. We’re new to the area and live in New Market, MD and I have no idea where there is a safe place to go. Not looking for anything fancy just a place where we can fish from a pier or a decent pond for some bass. Anyone recommend a place?
If your willing to drive an hour try Fort Smallwood Park. It has a pier and you can use hand lines for crab there too. Just buy some blood worms and chicken necks and you’ll have a good time.
