Need advice for deer creek

Thinking of heading up to DC this evening. I haven’t fished it since I was a kid and would love some input. Feel free to PM if you’d like.

We will be in a boat and have gear to target bass, eyes, and trout. We’re just lookin for a good time

There tends to be more success at the upper end of the lake (charelston) and try fishing crawdad colors DEEP. Those fish are far from shore now that it is summer. Tandam rigs will aid in more success. Good Luck…Deer Creek is a difficult place to fish.
