I released them all. I find nothing wrong with eating any fish, I just mostly fish for the sport of it.
Well, even though these fish are exotics, these particular species have been a breeding population here for many years. They are found in just about every lake, so I felt no need to kill them if I wasn’t going to eat them. If I wouldv’e caught a species such as a Snakehead or Walking catfish which are rare here and don’t have a high breeding population I might harvest those since they are very destructive.

The preservation of fishing requires us to return various species to the ecology. This ensures that there will be something to fish for “Tomorrow”.
