Mostly bluebird skies, water level down two feet, calm winds, and no current made for a tough day on Weiss. Ended up catching three spots and two LM, nothing over two pounds. Threw top water, CB, SB, shaky head, and wacky rig. Hooked 2-3 pounder on Academy's Sammy want-to-be but came unbuttoned at the boat, caught two spots at Cowen Creek bridge on wacky rig, one spot at mouth of James Branch on KVD 1.5, and two LM under docks in cove just below the Queen. One of the small female LM was still full of eggs. Must have seen a thousand carp and gar.<br /><br /> emoToast
