We saw two 4 wheelers get stuck at the ladders, it was 10 inches of snow on 4 inches of slush and walking was not real easy. It was slow till we got to 35 feet of water. 3 of us had caught 13 fish in 17, 20, and 24 feet of water to that point but at 3:30 we went out to 35 feet of water and it was nonstop after that. The next 90 minutes 2 of us iced 23 fish and lost another 10. One was 22.5 and the others were slots. Green paddlebugs tipped with mill worm were like a magnet.

Yes, you can drive to the ladders and park in a plowed lot, it’s a fee area so bring your 4 bucks.
