Hit the middle section of the Provo Sat morning 9-1:00 pm. Had a great morning, 4 on black/ brown wooly buggers, 3 on prince nymphs, and then 7 on caddis on top, all before noon.
I’m impressed you got them on top in mid-morning. I’ve been fishing the lower Provo (friday and saturday night), and did well on caddis, but not till after sunset.
Caddis were flying every where all morning, full adults, finally decided to just try a dry and first cast strike. Then it was game on. Think we missed the hatch but adults were all over the place, stuck to the trees.
