I am planning on going to mantua in the morning(weather permitting) and was wondering what baits to use, i beleive i saw something that said artificial only. Also would like to know where the best spot is to launch a tube for a newbie.

Mantua used to be limited to artificial lures only, but that changed a few years ago. I believe the change was in response to the exploding perch population. Now the only special restriction on Mantua is a limit of 6 bass with only one over 12 inches.
Vertical jig small plastic jigs tiped with worm. You can catch prech, bluegill, bass and trout with this set up.
You can also cast spinners etc for trout.
