Sounds like it’s GAME ON already. (too bad they don’t have a lake-cam!)
Personally - I’ll hold out for a good 4 inches.
2inches with all those warm springs out there [:p]
Wonder how the southern edges are? We needing planks to get ‘on’?
Think it’s time to dust off the sled!
I’m just gonna test it out by the boat ramp. Will be wearing a life jacket and the truck will be left running with the heat blasting just in case we have an accident [;)]
so dose anyone know what is the latest ice measure is.
I can tell you Saturday. [;)] Or you could just meet me and Lavaman out there and find out!
Ya coyote spinner will be out there i am hoping to make it if the ice is thick enough. If not we wont be going[frown][frown]
Fished the area by the boat ramp and the east side by the knoll today. Ice was 2-3" thick
Nice and thanks for sharing. Any perch, gills or bass?
Thanks for the update. 3 is getting there…
nice set of slimers there too. find any gills?
You got a bigger pair than myself…4-5" is still a bit skinny for me. I may try Thursday…would like to find some gills and perchies tho!
Hopefully someone will go tomorrow and she’ll be pushin 4in.
Caught 15 trout and only 1 perch. No gills or bass today. Ice was clear back and strong
Clear ice is very good. Looking forward to hitting it up this weekend.
Two brave soles out there this afternoon, Who are you?

[;)] I was one of those souls. Pucker factor was pretty high, id say a 9. Didn’t dare to venture to far, only fish for a short time and got the skunk.
How thick was the ice today? J

Everywhere we checked it was 3" of clear solid ice. Its was sure popping and cracking when the sun set.
That scares me so bad even though I know that is a sign of good ice but still makes me weak in the knees. Thanks for the report. J
