Decided to hit up Mantua today with my woman. She wanted to head up there and give it a shot, I’m more than happy to oblige. We got up late and didn’t make it out till about 12:30. Probably 20 people on the ice when we first got there. Set up some holes on the east side and moved around a bit. Was using ice flies, tube jigs, and a ping bug grub jig which did the trick for the only thing caught today, A pretty nice bass. Stayed till sun disappeared by the mountain. Always nice to get out, just wish the misses would have caught something also.
Gotta try to find something a little more active, so she will keep coming with me.
