Where would be best to put a camping trailer? Is it best on the east or west? I checked the weather today and looks like it’s been snowing and will through the night. I worry about the roads being plowed. I assume with 12” of ice it’s safe for a SBS, so we could go anywhere with that, unless there’s too much snow?
You’d be better off going to the east side, there’s no water at the west side and heard conflicting reports on the road to the dam being open or closed. Perch and trout are the main species, but there’s bass in there also, so your favorite jig will probably work.
Hmm, not sure about that, there’s limited parking on the west side and given the forecast I wouldn’t pull a trailer into the east side, not sure that road is kept up much in the winter and it’s not paved. There’s campgrounds in shoshone, Hailey and bellevue.
Shoot, we may need to change plans then.
