I am wondering about the STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING of lunds boats. I notice they are putting 225 hp engines on some of them. Thats a heck of an engine putting a whole lot of force on a thin wall of aluminium. I am wondering because my tracker targa 18 with a 150 buckled the aluminium on the bottom of the boat. The boat is rated to handle a 150 but rated and engineered to handle it have proven to be two totally different things.
Lund has the reputation for being the hands down best, and they do charge you for it. I was just wondering before I make up my mind what to do if anyone has had similar problems with any of the others, especially lund.
