Would you be willing to share some advice on how you are fishing Rapalas, and which Rapalas, on the Provo? I have never used a Rapala in a river but have heard it can be a lot of fun.
pretty simple, just toss it up stream and reel back in, try different speeds and retrieves. best luck for me has been with the tiny rapalas, silver has been the best. i have caught a few on a 5 inch rapala as well. when they hit em they really give em a good smack usually as well.
Kids in school, no work today, what is a man to do but go fishing[fishin]… Went out for a quick 2 hr trip to my favorite hole on the provo and managed to catch 11 and kept these three for a nice dinner treat, the kids love em. all were caught with small rapalas. i am somewhat surprised at how fat and healthy looking they are for the winter, not as skinny as most of the browns i caught in this section of the river last year.
