I snuck out at lunch and heaved a few spinners into the lower blacksmits fork. I landed 4-5 in about 45 minutes. I was a bit suprised at the action where this section had been totally dry last year. The biggest I landed was a 14" brown. Chicken
Thanks for the report,I was wondering how the water flow on the Blacksmith and logan was. How was the clearity?
Where abouts were your fishing? I’ve never had the chance to fish the lower part of the river. I’ve always done quite well up the canyon though.
The water has only come up slightly on the Logan River, and it is still running clear. I saw several fly fishermen out fishing the Logan River on Saturday as I was driving home from Bear Lake.
Thanks dude, probably will not last long.
The water was a bit cloudy but perfect for spinners. You could not see the bottom unless it was less than 12-18" deep.
I was fishing near the bridge heading to millville. There are 2 bridges that head east from the highway. The lower one has a bit more access to the river. Chicken
