Looking for something new to tie.

I have been wanting to tie some new patterns that are effective. I just don’t know which flies to tie with so many out there. Any ideas? I mainly fish the lower Provo but I do fly fish for bass quite a bit. I don’t like tying or fishing dry flies much, so I am looking more for nymphs and streamers.

   Thanks, Luke

Have you tied soft hackles? Also for nymphs I love the halfback!

I will try tying some halfbacks thank you.

If you are looking for streamers—Try Mike Schmidt (Steelhead Alley), Brian Wise (Youtube) he ties Kelly Galloup etc., or Jeremy Hunt on Youtube (Taneycomotrout.com). OR Curtis Fry of Utah. Have Fun.

Fall is around the corner, big trout luv streamers.

We throw some new and different patterns every now and again on our site if you want to check it out: www.flyfishfood.com

This is a good one for the Provo:

I love that fly! Need a picture with one hanging out of the mouth of a Trout.[;)]

Like this?

Exactly! [:)]

Nice shot!

Dead Chicken.

Best for huge fall browns, wipers, bass and pike.
