Ice season is just around the corner and we still don’t have enough solid commitments to have a good competetive contest. My personal minimum is 12 and we are at 7 and a maybe.

Considering that I still need to make a logo and we still have some rules to hash out, I’m giving it until the 15th. If we don’t have at least 12 solid commitments by the 15th. I’m throwing in the towel. It makes me sad too, cause I really enjoyed the contest last year.

Fence sitters need to GET R’ DONE!

Exact rules are yet to be determined, but the proposed rules are listed in the Ice Fishing section. Waiting to gather input on the rules from those who want to compete.

Im the same, I dont plan on winning but, Its something fun for the winter. I usually do ice fish 5 or 6 different places, this will be cool to just be involved in. Im sure I will run into a few of you, especially at Henrys Lake! Good luck to everyone and Be Safe! :sunglasses:

I try not to keep anything but the Kokes I catch through the ice but a few are having their “Kodak” moment this year!

The money is in an envelope and sitting on my desk. Veteran’s Day today so it will go out tomorrow. Excited to see all the pics this year!!!

I’ve emailed everyone on my email list for the contest a copy of the latest revision of rules. Hopefully this will be the final revision. Please check them over and get back to me QUICKLY if you have major issues with them. Others can still sign up, but I wont be accepting input on the rules from them like I have been from the ones on my email list. I’d like to get the rules finalized and posted as “OFFICIAL” so others will know completely what they are signing up for and can enter if they choose to do so. You have until Tuesday to respond to the email on the rules…

Ok, I will jump in if you need more to make twenty. If someone with more interest in ice fishing wants in and you limit it to twenty cut me out.
I will say upfront I haven’t ice fished in years, I may not this year but this may get me out on a frozen lake. I have gotten more than my entry fees worth of information and entertainment from this site and many of the participants in the contest so what the heck.
edited after posting: looking at some other threads here and remembering some things. Ice tents and houses, power augers, ice fishing specific finders…wow…who knows what may happen.
