How you making out on that “fishing farther south” quest so far? finding any good spots? Finding any at all?
I looked at Lindon this afternoon on the camera. It looked windy and said 15mph from the NW.

It was cool meeting you today.. I caught 1channel cat bout 2lb after you left..then I left..Windy definately the word of the day if the boat was workin I think we could have gone for sea sick..[sly]
Did you notice if there were any waves ? You know like that time some years ago when you and I went out in your old boat ?
Thanks. I have always been inspired by TubeDude’s detailed reports and all of his nice pictures, so I decided to try to compete with him. How did I do? Oops, I see that I forgot to include how the catching was. One bite and one bluegill in 2 hours of fishing.

I looked at Lindon this afternoon on the camera. It looked windy and said 15mph from the NW.
This was my first outing since ice fishing at Strawberry – long dry spell because of my “home construction projects”, so I would say my “quest” hasn’t gone too well so far. Lindon is probably often a good spot, but last night it wasn’t. I have never done well at Utah Lake when the wind has blown from the north.
It was also a pleasure meeting and fishing with you. Let’s hope Saturday is a better outing catching wise.
I think I remember that day, but I don’t recall my boat being that large.
