Lindon Bay, The Kitties wanted to play!

Fished Lindon this morning from 7:00 Am until about 10:30 Am. Plans were to fish north of the bay but I didn’t get that far. First fish hit my chartruse jig tipped with white bass meat about 50 feet from the launching ramp. Things lookin good. Rebaited and within 10 minutes game on again. A male about 8 pounds. Proceded to the mouth of the bay and hooked up with a cat about 1 1/2 pounds. Changed my mind about going out any further and fighting with the power squadron that was churning up the water. Headed back inside the harbor and hooked up with two small whites. Bait! Baited up with the fresh white bass meat and fished till about 10:00 before hooking up with the biggest fish of the day. Another male kitty. Lots of boats were launching by this time and game was over. Nice morning to be fishing. The water was as smooth as glass for most of the time. Water temperature 67-69 degrees.

sounds like a lot of fun.i will be going down there in about an hour.i would like to catch a bunch of whities. they are fun to catch.[;)]

:sunglasses:Nice cats. You did much better than us at Lincoln yesterday. We only got one, and she was small…

Nice cats! The one on the right would be big even for georgia standerds. We usually dont keep any over 3 pounds because of all the slop and muck the big ones have a bad taste :sunglasses:

Nice fish. That is a big cat.

[angelic]Hey there … I had that big one staked out for my next trip down! I recognize the shirt you were wearing! Know why? My son is the Monster Trakker!
