went to lincoln beach yesterday afternoon..got there about 4:00 PM fished tell around 8:30.. hit 1 Largmouth bass over in the springs.. around 5:00 but there was alot of people there makeing a lot of rackit so we packed up and headed For the L .. around the point. my buddy caught 2 walleye and i had one on right up next to me and got off.. he hit his on a green and white twist tail.. and i had my’n on a red thin-fin..

soounds like a fairly productive day… how big were the wally’s? i only have one question.. what is the “L”? or am i just having a brain fart today… is it those little rock out croppings around the bend or is it elsewhere?

the “L” is just around the point from lincoln.. there is a L shaped shelf out about 60 to 80 yards off shour and some good walleyes hang around that area.. the ones my bubby cought was about 4 lbs.. the one i had on was about the same..

Did you wade out or fish from shore? I was there sunday too but left after 230 .I wasnt getting any bites and the people there were very noisy and i was at the second spring when i caught my lmb.I ahve been trying to catch me a walleye last 2 weekends but nothing!Is there certain jig colors that they bite on at utah lake? I am heading down there this saturday again .Out for trout is going to meet me there and he has never fished there before.
yeah i had my waders on and went out alittle at the springs but you could fish the same aera with out waders.. as for fishing the L yeah you need waders to fish there.. or a boat. i think next time i go up i’m going to take my boat up so i dont have to wade out and i can fish with 2 poles..
