I’ve been a baaaad boy. Fishing all summer and not a single post! I guess it is time to mend my ways:
Sunday, 9/18/2011- Hit the water early (5:30am). Headed to Gov"t Wash on calm, dark water.

Looking to do a little “Top Water Tango & Swim Bait Boogie”.

Caught several nice stripers as they surfaced to feed. At about 8:00am all action seemed to end.
Time to start looking for shad! Poked around the submerged trees and brush of Las Vegas Wash until the bait tank was filled.

Shad! Time for the “Live Bait Ballet”.

Live bait hook-up! Fished the 70’ water outside of Hole 33 for two hours. Action was steady.

Ended up with a cooler of nice stripers and a great day on the water!
