It’s been windy as hell in Vegas recently so I saw a break in the weather and took advantage of it. Headed out to the lake this morning around 6am. The plan was to fish the 33 hole from shore. I made the hike down and found a good spot to setup. I started soaking cut chovies with one rod and tossing swimbaits with the other. It was pretty slow most of the morning. I finally got a bite at around 9am. It was on the smaller side but at least the skunk is off.
I rebaited and 5 mins later im on again. This one knew what to do and got me snagged… 10 mins later im hooked up again and another snag. I didn’t get any bites for another hour so decided to call it a day.
The weather is warming up and I cant wait to get my Toon back out there.

Nice going on the shore bite. I was out today also at 33 hole. I was in the floattube kicking around. I made it down to the large rock pillar and got only one dink striper on a white grub. I kicked across and got no love there also. Went to the other parking lot and kicked for another couple hours for nada. Was great to be on the water.
