lake mead 2/18

:sunglasses:Since we had success last week, my wife and I went fishing at Hemmenway again after work. The wind was howling!!. We cast sliders and storm baits up and down the beach. Finally Beth get a hit. Swing and a miss. Ten minutes later another hit.Swing and a hookup…for two seconds and off. Twenty minutes later hookup on the storm. She brings him in. A nice 3lber. Meanwhile I am throwing everything at them and nada. Twenty minutes later and another solid hookup. This one she tells me is a bigger one. I can hear the drag singing. After a nice fight she brings it in.Another personal best!! A fat 7lb14oz striper. She had two firsts today. One, more than one striper in an outing, and two,she topped her PB on her next trip out. Me, I played spectator and net man. I got no love from the stripers this time. It was nice to get fish on a full moon phase and windy conditions. No trout in the bellies.

Nice fish BigE and BigE’s wife

Beth is on a roll! Next week it’ll be a DD, GO BETH!!!

:sunglasses:Watch out. She may pass your PB.

Nice fishin.

Cool nice report n pics.

Man, you guys are on fire!

I went to Hemmenway that morning to shore fish a bit. The wind deterred me from bringing my boat. The ranger at the toll booth said winds were over 50 mph.

I cast an LA Slider three times before it got hung up. I broke off, then realized I left my tackle box in the boat. I got back in my truck and drove home. It was a nice drive either way.

:sunglasses:Watch out. She may pass your PB.

Never!!

Hey BigE :sunglasses: cant help to ask but I notice you said you went after work and in the pics it looks pretty dark out. Did you catch those babies at sunset or was it way later than that?

:sunglasses:We got there about 2:30pm. Got the fish hour and a half later. Stayed till almost dark before changing out of waders and heading to cleaning station.

:sunglasses:I have learned not to doubt her capabilities.
