Freshwater Fishing Forum Catfish, Gars, and Carp

I got there at 1:00pm with night crawlers at the “L” dock and caught two 10" bass and a 12" bass.

Then at 5:30 I moved to the handicapped dock with anchovy and night crawler after ten minutes I got a 10" bass.

Then at 6:00 I got a nice redear sunfish which is now in the tank at the visitor center.

Then at 6:30 I took my catfish rod over to my spot in the tulies and missed a hit, then hooked up after ten minutes of getting him out of the tulies I got him up, 8.1lbs.

Then at 7:00 I threw out my bass rod with a whole nightcrawler and caught a 13" bass.

Then I left at 7:30pm.

Nice fish bro. I used fish that area when I was a kid. Have you been to any of those ponds near Walnut Creek? There is some good action there too. You can get pretty close to them on the BART.:sunglasses:

I have fished at heather farms pond and caught a few catfish, trout, and bluegill. Where are the other ponds?
