Has anyone caught kokanee though the ice at strawberry. ..If so any tips?
Caught a couple last year. They were the first. Just dumb luck, no skill, just was in the right place at the right time. They seem to hang out around the Narrows.
The few that I have caught were on the SC side - 10 feet below the ice. Needed a small jig w/curly tail - flourescent green or pink. The action is fast when a school swims through.
