I’d like to take my 2 1/2 yo boy out next month overnight. Anywhere in the state is fine, but preferably the northern half. Somewhere I can camp close to a lake that has plenty of eager fish in it (preferably bluegill or sunfish) and we can fish from shore. Crowds are no worry, this ones all about the boy.
Trial Lake in the Uinta’s has a campground that is within casting distance of the lake. They have nice restrooms, i believe running water and some beautiful scenery. Pm ugmecaveman, his in-laws are the camp hosts up there and he spends alot of time there.
Mantua will be really turned on by then and there is camping there also
