Was it a whitefish or a Utah chub? Jordanelle is crawling with those things. I’ve caught a couple every time that I’ve gone up there this winter.
Were you on the north side of the bay? Did others over there do very much? I was on the south side today, but couln’t see how the people on the other side were doing. (See my report today)
hey fishcat didn’t know that was you i was up there with fishcrazy today we were the two guys you were talking to on the way off the ice we got no perch but did mnage 4 bows fished from 230-500 did catch some perch on the hailstone side
it was most likely a chub…it was to short and thick for a whitefish
nice to have met you two will try to remember and say hello next time
fished the rockcliff area from noon til 5:00 p.m. caught maybe 6 good perch and 3 nice rainbows,just right for smoking, and 1 large ugly whitefish. weather was great. was maybe 12 others on the ice. next trip will be the 13th, anyone going then ???
